Philip Kaczmarczyk
CEO
Phil is co-founder and CEO of AYCE Capital. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and investment decisions.
Prior to co-founding AYCE, Phil worked in various finance roles on the stock market, in SMB growth consulting, and M&A. Phil’s role is to make investment decisions and can provide real-time responses throughout the M&A process.
Phil has lived and worked in Barrie and the GTA, and enjoys giving back and supporting the community. In his spare time he reads, spends time with family, and golfs.
William Dennis
COO
Will is co-founder and COO at AYCE Capital. He focuses on supporting MSP owners in various business operations spanning HR, compliance, accounting, procurement, and insurance.
Prior to co-founding AYCE, Will worked in various roles across insurance, corporate finance, business development, accounting, operations, and financial regulation. Will’s role is to help strengthen operations and iterate back-end processes.
Will has lived and worked in Guelph and Ottawa, and often volunteered with the Canadian Cadet Program, Guelph Tool Library, and Urban Sugaring Project. In his spare time, he loves to grill, cycle the hills of Gatineau, and tend to his garden.
Karen Frisky
CFO
Karen is the CFO at AYCE Capital and brings with her a vast array of accounting skills, earned during her 30 years of experience, including 14 years as Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer with several public mining companies on both the TSX-V and the CSE.
She received her Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and holds a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
Karen also worked in public practice as well as held senior accounting positions in the non-profit, health, manufacturing, and construction sectors.
Liam Woodside
VP - M&A
Liam is the VP of M&A at AYCE Capital. Within the transaction process, he focuses on financial analysis, due diligence, and document preparation.
Before starting at AYCE, Liam worked in M&A advisory, specializing in financial due diligence, financial modelling, and other advisory engagements. Liam has also spent time analyzing publicly traded companies at a buy-side firm and in financial planning and analysis at a renewable energy firm.
Born in the Maritimes, Liam grew up and went to school in Ottawa. When not working, Liam’s hobbies include badminton, running, poker, and bouldering.
Kate McMullen
Analyst - Ops
Kate serves as an Analyst on our Operations team, collaborating closely with the COO to manage and enhance the operations of AYCE Capital’s portfolio companies.
Before joining AYCE, Kate gained valuable experience on the Wealth Planning and Client Wealth Management teams at a leading private wealth advisory firm in Toronto. In that role, Kate assisted in providing planning expertise to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net worth individuals and their families in the areas of business owner planning, retirement, tax, insurance, estates and trusts, and philanthropy planning.
Originally from Ireland, Kate has established her home in Toronto. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and taking walks by the lake with her husband and young son.
Sean O'Shaughnessey
SVP - Sales
Sean has 38 years of experience in B2B sales, and has sold to Fortune 500 companies, small-to-medium businesses, and everyone in-between. Sean has previously worked as a VP of Worldwide Sales and as a Chief Revenue Officer. In his current role as a fractional VP of Sales, Sean has helped organizations increase their revenue and profitability while increasing the stability and predictability of their sales teams and processes.
Sean lives happily with his wonderful wife in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is the proud parent of three children.

Nathan Tam
Investor and Advisor
Nathan co-founded Ashbridge Partners in 2013. Nathan established the firm following a career in private equity, finance and entrepreneurship with Onex Corp, Morgan Stanley and Offleash Media (co-founded by Nathan and later acquired by Vertical Scope).
Nathan served as CEO and Board Member of Caryl Baker Visage for six years. Nathan is or has served as a Board member for Offleash Media, Bagwell Supply, Geroline, Progressive Countertop, AYCE Capital, Rational Business Solutions, CollegePrep360, Chris’s Sign Service, Westcan and the New Leaders of Sunnybrook Foundation.
Nathan lives in Toronto with his amazing wife Jamie and two wonderful daughters Emma and Ellie.
Jordan Goodman
Investor and Advisor
Jordan co-founded Ashbridge Partners in 2013. Jordan established the firm following an almost 10-year private equity and consulting career with Creative Artists Agency (a TPG portfolio company), Authentic Brands Group (a Leonard Green & Partners portfolio company) and Hilco Consumer Capital.
Jordan is or has served as a Board member for The Bridle Bash Foundation, Caryl Baker Visage, Bagwell Supply, Geroline, DD Mac Electric, Progressive Countertop, AYCE Capital, Rational Business Solutions, Chris’s Sign Service and Westcan.
Jordan lives in Toronto with his fantastic wife Lesley and their two delightful children, son Preston and daughter Jaxson.
